Custom-made cakes for special occasions

My name is Mu Nooney, and I am a self taught experienced cake maker and decorator of over twenty years.

I set up my business of Amazing Cakes a few years ago, when I retired from full time employment.

Based at home in Chandlers Ford, halfway between Southampton and Winchester in Hampshire, I have knowledge of many cake recipes. The general choice of cakes are rich fruit, Madeira, chocolate and carrot, all of which are generally covered with marzipan and soft icing. With the exception of rich fruit cakes however, the remainder can be covered in butter cream and soft icing if preferred. Children’s cakes are always covered in this way, and can also have jam and butter cream through the middle.

Every occasion is special, and placing an order with Amazing Cakes gives me the opportunity of bringing delight to all those sharing that important happy day and make it that bit more enjoyable.
