Mu Nooney is a self taught, experienced cake maker and decorator of
over twenty years, but has only recently set up her business of Amazing
Cakes, when she retired from full time employment. Based at home
in Chandlers Ford, half way between Southampton and Winchester in
Hampshire, she has knowledge of many cake recipes.
The
general choice of cakes are rich fruit, madeira, chocolate and carrot,
all of which are generally covered with marzipan and soft icing. With the exception of rich fruit cakes however, the remainder can be covered in butter cream and soft icing if preferred. Children's cakes are always covered in this way, and can also have jam and butter cream through the middle.
Every
